




Mumbai: Marking International Yoga Day, actress Nimrat Kaur shared an emotional note on social media, describing yoga as the most meaningful inner journey she has experienced over the years.
Taking to Instagram, the actress reflected on how yoga has transformed her perspective, saying it is not about chasing perfection or reaching a destination but about embracing mindfulness, stillness, and the rhythm of one's breath.
"Yoga is no destination, no goal, no sense of perfection. Over the years it’s become the most meaningful inner journey, with simply observing the rhythm of the breath through the stillness of the body," she wrote.


Celebrating the occasion, Nimrat added, "Celebrating the best love letter to my body and being today and every day. Happy International Yoga Day everyone!! P.S. The last one is my take on 'Sukhaasan.'"
The actress also shared a series of photographs showcasing herself performing different yoga asanas. Like many other Bollywood celebrities, she used International Yoga Day to highlight the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being and self-care.
On the work front, Nimrat made her acting debut in 2012 with Peddlers, produced by Anurag Kashyap. She rose to prominence with her critically acclaimed performance alongside Irrfan Khan in The Lunchbox.
She later gained international recognition for portraying an ISI agent in the fourth season of the American TV series Homeland and also appeared in Wayward Pines.
In Bollywood, Nimrat won widespread appreciation for her role opposite Akshay Kumar in Airlift. Most recently, she was seen in Kaalidhar Laapata alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. She also featured in the third season of the popular spy thriller The Family Man.
