Hrithik Roshan’s Surprise Cameo Steals the Show in Action-Packed ‘Alpha’ Trailer

Mumbai: The makers of **"Alpha"**, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, on Wednesday unveiled the much-awaited trailer of the upcoming action thriller, offering a glimpse of high-octane stunts, intense combat sequences and a surprise cameo by Hrithik Roshan that has become the biggest talking point.

The over two-minute trailer opens with Alia Bhatt introducing her character, Sita, with the powerful dialogue, *"Sita aaj Lanka khud jalane aayi hai,"* followed by *"Shuru karo agni pariksha,"* setting the tone for an action-filled face-off with Bobby Deol, who appears as a ruthless mentor.

Backed by the energetic track **"Jamaican (Bam Bam)"** by Hugel and SOLTO (FR), the trailer features explosive action, hand-to-hand combat, gunfights and stylish stunt sequences. It also offers brief glimpses of veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Sharvari in key roles.

The biggest surprise, however, comes in the closing moments when Hrithik Roshan makes a special appearance as **Agent Kabir**, adding another exciting connection to Yash Raj Films' expanding Spy Universe.

While Alia's role takes centre stage throughout the trailer, Sharvari's character has largely been kept under wraps, hinting at a significant role in the story. The trailer suggests that the two women join forces in a mission to stop Bobby Deol's character at any cost.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, **"Alpha"** is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on **July 3**.

The film's teaser was released on June 10, with Yash Raj Films sharing it on social media alongside the caption: *"The first. The fastest. The bravest. #ALPHA."*

Alia Bhatt was last seen in **"Jigra"** and remains one of Bollywood's leading stars, with acclaimed films such as **"Raazi," "Gangubai Kathiawadi," "Highway," "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,"** and **"Dear Zindagi"** to her credit.

Earlier, a source close to the production had confirmed to IANS that Alia's character in **"Alpha"** is not a conventional spy but a trained assassin.

According to the source, Alia plays a lethal killer who has been raised and trained for combat. "She isn't like the goody-good heroes that the YRF Spy Universe has introduced so far. She isn't a spy; she is an alpha killer," the source had said.

The source also revealed that Yash Raj Films head Aditya Chopra wanted to introduce a bold new protagonist whose actions are driven by her own instincts rather than traditional notions of heroism, giving the Spy Universe a fresh and unconventional lead character.
