




Ramgarh: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised on Saturday in the conference hall of the Civil Court under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), **Mohd. Toufiqul Hasan**. The camp was conducted by the District Legal Services Authority, Ramgarh, in collaboration with the Civil Surgeon’s Office and the Indian Red Cross Society.
The programme was inaugurated by the Principal District and Sessions Judge by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Addressing the gathering, he said that courts have a responsibility that extends beyond delivering justice, adding that they also play an important role in helping save lives through humanitarian initiatives such as voluntary blood donation.


The event was attended by District and Additional Sessions Judge-I **Vishal Srivastava**, Chief Judicial Magistrate **Aarti Mala**, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate **Arvind Kachhap**, Senior Civil Judges **Shavendu Dwivedi**, **Tabinda Khan**, and **Uttam Sagar Rana**, DLSA Secretary **Anil Kumar**, Principal Magistrate of the Juvenile Justice Board **Alok Singh**, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate **Harshit Tiwari**, and Junior Civil Judge **Ayesha Singh Sardar**, among other judicial officers.
Judicial officers, court employees, advocates, DLSA para legal volunteers, and members of the public enthusiastically participated in the camp by donating blood voluntarily. The initiative aimed to ensure the availability of safe blood for patients in need while promoting the values of humanity, compassion, and community service.
Civil Surgeon **Dr. Anil Kumar**, Pathologist **Dr. Nishat Ahmad**, **Dr. Swachha Shekhar**, laboratory technicians **Upendra Kumar Sahu**, **Ajit Kumar Rajak**, **Sanju Kumari**, trainee **Rahul Kumar**, driver **Mithun Kumar Kushwaha**, and representatives of the Indian Red Cross Society, including Chairman **Anup Kumar**, Secretary **Inderpal Singh Saini**, **Murari Lal Agrawal**, **Vivekanand Verma** of Muskurahaten Foundation, and **Shekhar Kumar Dangi**, played a key role in the successful organisation of the camp.

During the programme, participants were also made aware of the importance of regular voluntary blood donation, the need for maintaining an adequate supply of safe blood, and the health and social benefits associated with donating blood. The District Legal Services Authority expressed its gratitude to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, the Indian Red Cross Society, and all voluntary blood donors for making the event a success.
