Actress Janhvi Kapoor has shown her support for Veer Pahariya’s upcoming romantic comedy Prem Keetanu, describing the film as fresh, young and full of fun.

Janhvi, who is in a relationship with Veer’s brother Shikhar Pahariya, shared the recently released teaser of Prem Keetanu on her Instagram Stories on Monday. Along with the teaser, she wrote, “Veeru!!! Fresh young fun and masti. @veerpahariya can't wait for this!!!”

The film marks another important project for Veer Pahariya, who will be seen playing a free-spirited college student. Set against the backdrop of hostel life, Prem Keetanu follows his character as he experiences the excitement and uncertainty of dating, heartbreak, friendship and several other firsts associated with growing up.

The film is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, who has previously received attention for projects such as Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Aspirants. Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay are also part of the cast in key roles.

Prem Keetanu is backed by Avanika Films and co-presented by Gaurav Verma and Phars Studios in association with Bhavana Studios. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 2.

Director Apoorv Singh Karki said the film combines humour, friendship and the small experiences that make the transition into adulthood memorable. He described the world of Prem Keetanu as one filled with innocence, warmth and a certain madness, adding that he hopes audiences connect with its characters when they see the film on the big screen.

Janhvi’s public show of support has also added to the buzz around the project, particularly given her close association with the Pahariya family. She and Shikhar Pahariya are often spotted together at Bollywood parties, film screenings and family gatherings, while their social media interactions frequently attract attention from fans and the entertainment media.

With its college and hostel setting, youthful characters and coming-of-age theme, Prem Keetanu is positioned as a light-hearted romantic comedy aimed at capturing the fun, confusion and emotional ups and downs of young adulthood.
