realme 16 5G sees massive demand, clocks 150% growth over previous model

New Delhi — realme has reported a strong market response for its latest smartphone, the realme 16 5G, which has recorded 150 per cent higher sales compared to its predecessor.

The company said the impressive growth reflects strong demand, especially among young users looking for a mix of performance, design, and practical innovation.

At the core of the device is its AI-powered photography system. The phone features a dual 50MP camera setup, including a Sony IMX852 rear sensor and a 50MP front camera, aimed at delivering detailed portraits with natural tones and balanced lighting across different conditions.

realme has also introduced several user-friendly features to enhance the photography experience. These include a rear selfie mirror with Aura Ring Flash, gesture-based “Say Hi” capture, and voice countdown, making it easier to take photos in social settings.

Running on realme UI 7.0, the device is designed to offer a smooth and consistent user experience.
