Google Gemini Introduces NEET Practice Tests for Smarter Exam Prep

Tech giant Google has expanded its AI-driven education offerings by rolling out full-length NEET UG practice tests on its Google Gemini platform. The move is aimed at helping medical aspirants prepare more effectively with a structured, exam-like experience.

This new feature builds on Google’s earlier introduction of mock tests for competitive exams and is designed to simulate real test conditions. The NEET practice papers are created using carefully vetted content sourced from multiple educational platforms, ensuring both quality and relevance.

Students can easily access these tests by prompting Gemini with a simple request like “Take a NEET mock test.” Currently available in English, the feature is open to users with standard Google accounts as well as Workspace subscribers.

One of the key highlights is instant performance feedback. After completing a test, users receive insights into their strengths and areas needing improvement. Additionally, Gemini can explain answers in detail and generate personalised study plans, helping students address knowledge gaps and refine their preparation strategy.

Google’s expansion into NEET preparation follows its earlier push into AI-powered learning tools in India, including mock tests for engineering exams like JEE Main. The platform also enables users to create study materials, quizzes, and guides through AI-assisted search features.

Beyond student-focused tools, Google has introduced AI capabilities for educators as well—allowing them to draft assignments, analyse student performance, and deliver customised feedback. Features like integrated audio, video, and screen recording further enhance interaction in digital classrooms.

The company has also emphasised responsible AI deployment, introducing mechanisms to identify AI-generated content and promote transparency in digital education.

Overall, these initiatives are aimed at making learning more personalised, accessible, and effective for students preparing for competitive exams like NEET UG.
