Those who believe in ideology of Godse offer tributes to Gandhiji on October 2nd: Oraon

Ranchi: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that there are two types of ideologies that are currently prevailing in the country including one which belongs to Mahatma and the other which belongs to Godse.

Addressing a seminar organized by the party on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi is said that when compared between the two ideologies one would find that it is the ideology of Gandhiji which has been adopted by the entire world.

He said that those who believe in the ideology of Godse bow down their heads before Gandhiji on October 2 but do not have the similar feelings in their hearts. He said that currently in the country politics of hatred and Jharkhand has become the number one state in mob lynching. He said that as a worker of a political party he was with the ideology of Gandhiji and would continue to take it forward.

Leader of the Legislature wing of the Congress party Alamgir Alam said that questions are being currently raised on the ideals of Gandhiji which is the big challenge and said that time has come when youth needed to be told that they can take on the Mighty while following on the path of nonviolence.

Eminent personalities from various walks of life also kept their views during the programme.
