BJP Leader Neeraj Singh to Be Brought to Jamshedpur on Transit Remand in DD Bar Attack Case

Jamshedpur: The investigation into the attempted murder case linked to the attack at DD Bar in Bistupur gathered pace after police intensified questioning of BJP leader and DD Bar owner Neeraj Singh, who is in custody in Rajasthan. Singh was detained in the Khatu Shyamji police station area of Sikar district, Rajasthan on Sunday night, where legal formalities have been completed.

 He is scheduled to be produced before a Sikar district court today (Monday) for transit remand, following which a Jamshedpur police team is expected to bring him back to the city for further interrogation.Investigators believe Singh's questioning could provide crucial leads into the alleged conspiracy behind the attack, the sequence of events, and the possible involvement of other accused.

Police sources said all necessary paperwork has been completed and the transit remand process is underway.Meanwhile, efforts to trace the main accused, Vishwanath Mandal alias Bodra, have entered a decisive phase. Multiple raids are being carried out at suspected hideouts, and investigators claim to have gathered important leads that could result in his arrest soon.

Senior police officials have, however, refrained from commenting on the ongoing operation, stating that disclosing details at this stage could hamper the investigation.Police investigating the sensational DD Bar murder case have also arrested the bar's manager, Vijay Kumar, from Odisha on Sunday,  marking another significant breakthrough in the probe. 

After completing transit formalities, the accused was brought to Jamshedpur, where investigators are subjecting him to intensive interrogation to unravel the conspiracy behind the attack, identify the roles of other accused, and trace the whereabouts of the absconding suspects.

Investigators believe Vijay Kumar's questioning could provide crucial leads into the planning and execution of the brutal assault outside DD Bar in Bistupur that claimed the life of Himanshu Singh and left Pratyush critically injured. Police sources said the interrogation is focused on establishing the sequence of events before and after the attack, the involvement of other conspirators, and gathering evidence to strengthen the case as the hunt for the remaining accused continues.

The high-profile case continues to draw public attention, with the focus now on the revelations that may emerge after Singh is brought to Jamshedpur and questioned, as well as on the anticipated arrest of the absconding prime accused. Police have maintained that the investigation is being conducted impartially and scientifically, and that the entire conspiracy will be uncovered soon.
