

Deoghar: The first quarterly Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) of R. Mitra District CM School of Excellence was held on Saturday at the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium, bringing together parents, members of the School Management Committee, teachers, non-teaching staff and students' guardians to review academic progress and strengthen school-parent collaboration.
Deoghar Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut attended the programme as the chief guest, while Ward No. 12 Councillor Anoop Barnwal was the guest of honour. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome song presented by students. The guests were felicitated with bouquets and traditional shawls.During the meeting, the school administration presented a detailed report on academic achievements, co-curricular activities and programmes conducted between April and June 2026. Parents were briefed on students' attendance, performance in the monthly RAIL assessments, discipline, punctuality and overall academic progress. The school reiterated its commitment to providing quality education, promoting moral values and adopting modern teaching methods for the holistic development of every student.
Teachers appealed to parents to ensure regular attendance, create a supportive learning environment at home and maintain continuous communication with the school. They expressed confidence that active parental involvement would further enhance students' academic performance and help the institution achieve greater success.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut appreciated the school's academic standards, disciplined environment and positive atmosphere. He said that shaping the future of children is a collective responsibility of society and assured all possible support to address the school's infrastructure and developmental needs on a priority basis.Councillor Anoop Barnwal encouraged students to lead disciplined lives, remain dedicated to their studies and uphold moral values. He also urged parents to play an active role in their children's education and continue supporting the school's growth.After the meeting, the guests and parents visited the school's smart classrooms, science laboratories, language laboratory, library, computer lab and other educational facilities provided by the state government. They appreciated the modern infrastructure and the well-maintained academic environment.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The school administration expressed confidence that stronger coordination between parents and the school would play a vital role in ensuring students' bright future and the institution's continued progress.
