Mayor Ravi Raut Reviews Civic Services in Jasidih, Orders Immediate Improvements

Deoghar: Deoghar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut conducted a surprise inspection in the Jasidih area on Friday to assess the condition of cleanliness, street lighting and drinking water facilities.

During the visit, the Mayor inspected the main roads and market areas of Jasidih, where he expressed concern over garbage accumulation and poorly maintained drains at several locations. Taking a firm stance on sanitation, he instructed sanitation supervisors to ensure regular and timely garbage collection. He also warned that strict action would be taken against employees found neglecting their responsibilities.

The inspection also revealed several non-functional street lights along important roads. The Mayor directed officials of the electricity department to repair all faulty lights without delay to improve public convenience and safety.

Apart from sanitation and lighting, the Mayor reviewed the drinking water supply system and pipeline network in the area. Officials were instructed to ensure uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to every household and to expand pipeline connections to areas that are still not covered.

Speaking during the inspection, Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut said that providing better civic amenities to residents of Deoghar and Jasidih remains the top priority of the Municipal Corporation. He added that there would be no compromise on essential services such as cleanliness, water supply and electricity.

Municipal Manager Satish Das, local representative Sandeep Vishwakarma, councillor representative Rajan Singh, Mrityunjay Raut, along with local traders and residents, were present during the inspection.
