Janhvi Kapoor says she is ready to give her all for meaningful cinema

New Delhi- Actress Janhvi Kapoor believes there should be no limits when it comes to dedication towards meaningful cinema, saying she is willing to give everything for a role she truly connects with.

Since her Bollywood debut with Dhadak in 2018, Janhvi has consistently experimented with diverse roles in films such as Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Mili and Bawaal. The actress says strong stories deserve complete commitment from actors.

Speaking to IANS about how much an actor should invest in a role, Janhvi said, “I think nothing is too much.”

The actress, known for performing physically demanding scenes in several of her films, added, “If you feel convinced and strongly about the story, your role and the message, then give your life for it.”

Janhvi will next be seen alongside Ram Charan in the upcoming Telugu sports action drama Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Ram Charan as a crossover athlete competing in cricket, wrestling and sprinting.

Talking about sports, Janhvi admitted that she was never deeply inclined towards athletics while growing up. “I always enjoyed dancing though,” she shared.

The film also stars Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu, and is scheduled to release on June 4.

Janhvi made her Telugu debut with Devara: Part 1 starring Jr. NTR.

On the Hindi film front, she was last seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film also featured Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi.
