Mouni Roy Deletes Emotional Post for ‘Little Sister’ Disha Patani Amid Online Speculation

Mumbai- Actress Mouni Roy recently shared a heartfelt post for her close friend Disha Patani on social media, calling her “little sister”, before unexpectedly deleting it soon after.

In the now-removed post, Mouni shared a glamorous photo of the two posing together. Mouni stunned in a black cut-out mini outfit paired with sneakers, while Disha kept it sporty and casual in a white sports bra, oversized denims and a white cap.

Along with the picture, Mouni had written, “Missing my lil sister! Come back soon x @dishapatani.”

The two actresses are known for their strong friendship in the entertainment industry and are often seen holidaying together at international destinations. Their social media accounts frequently feature stylish and glamorous pictures from their vacations and outings.

The deleted post comes amid recent online speculation surrounding Mouni’s reported separation from businessman Suraj Nambiar. Following rumours about their divorce, some social media users had unfairly dragged Disha into the controversy, accusing her of being the reason behind the alleged rift.

As online trolling intensified, reports suggested that Disha even disabled comments on her social media posts after receiving hate messages from netizens.

Earlier this month, Suraj publicly addressed the rumours and firmly denied allegations involving a third person or any dispute between him and Mouni.

In a detailed statement shared on social media, Suraj clarified that there was “no alimony, no dispute, and no third party involved” in their separation.

“Mouni and I chose to part ways together, with mutual respect and with full consideration for each other's wellbeing. That is the truth,” he wrote, adding that the stories circulating online were “fiction” and an attempt to unnecessarily target innocent people.

He also urged media outlets and social media users to stop spreading unverified narratives and allow both him and Mouni the space to move on peacefully.
