Flag March Held Across District Ahead of Bakrid, Police Assure Public Safety

Deoghar.In view of the upcoming Bakrid festival, the district police administration has intensified security arrangements to ensure peaceful and harmonious celebrations. Acting on the instructions of SP Praveen Pushkar, a flag march was conducted across various parts of the district on Wednesday. The objective of the march was to instill a sense of security and confidence among residents and maintain communal harmony. During the flag march, police officers and security personnel carried out foot patrols in sensitive and crowded areas. A visible police presence was seen in markets, major intersections and busy roads, reassuring local residents ahead of the festival. Police officials also appealed to the public to maintain peace, brotherhood and mutual harmony during the celebrations.
The administration stated that strict vigil is being maintained to prevent any untoward incident or spread of rumours. Through the march, the police conveyed a clear message that the administration remains fully alert and prepared to maintain law and order across the district during the festival period.
