Two Arrested for School Theft, Stolen Items Recovered

Deoghar. Police have solved a theft case at Jiruliya Middle School under Sarwan police station area and arrested two accused involved in the incident. Several stolen items have also been recovered from their possession.According to police, unknown thieves broke the lock of the school on the night of May 24, 2026, and stole several items from the kitchen room. Following the incident, a case numbered 63/2026 was registered at Sarwan police station on May 25 under Sections 303(2) and 317(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.During the investigation, Deoghar police arrested Anuj Kumar Dubey, a resident of Dehridih village under Sono police station in Jamui district of Bihar, and Avinash Kumar Mishra, a resident of Jiruliya village under Sarwan police station in Deoghar district.Police recovered a gas cylinder, gas stove, aluminium utensils, iron pan, strainer, 10-litre pressure cooker, rice straining tray, mat, plastic pipe and steel bowl from the accused.
Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
