Ramgarh Police Crack Down on Rahul Dubey Gang, Six Criminals Arrested

Ramgarh : In a major breakthrough against organized crime, the Ramgarh Police arrested six active members of the notorious Rahul Dubey gang and detained a juvenile during a special operation in the district. Police also recovered a loaded country-made pistol, a large quantity of live cartridges, and motorcycles from the accused.

Acting on secret information received by SP Mukesh Lunayat, a police team conducted a raid and successfully apprehended the gang members. The arrested accused have been identified as Vikas Sao, Vishal Kumar, Bittu Kumar Ravi, Hiralal Kumar, Digambar Prajapati alias Dagan, Ehtesham Ansari alias Dularbh, along with one juvenile.

Police officials said several incidents linked to organized criminal gangs had taken place in Ramgarh district in recent months. Following the SP’s instructions, a special raiding team led by the Patratu SDPO was formed to crack these cases and arrest those involved.

On May 25, police received information that a group of criminals had gathered in the Patratu police station area with plans to execute a major crime. Acting swiftly, the raiding team surrounded the area using both technical and human intelligence inputs and detained seven individuals.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to being active members of the Rahul Dubey gang. They admitted involvement in several previous incidents, including firing near the railway flyover bridge gate in Patratu, gunfire at the Om Dairy plot gate, and firing at the UltraTech Cement plant to spread terror and extort money.

The accused also revealed that they had assembled once again in the Patratu area to carry out another major criminal act.
