
Deoghar: New Superintendent of Police Praveen Pushkar officially assumed charge on Saturday from outgoing SP Saurav. The handover ceremony was completed at the police office in the presence of departmental officials.After taking charge, Praveen Pushkar said that maintaining law and order, controlling crime, and ensuring the safety of citizens would be his top priorities. He added that the police administration would work with full commitment to strengthen public trust and ensure better policing across the district.
The new SP also stated that the positive initiatives undertaken during former SP Saurav’s tenure would be continued. He said that the focus would remain on strengthening the existing system and making policing more effective in the district.
He further said that special emphasis would be given to crime control through better coordination between the police and the public. Effective measures would be taken at every level to maintain peace and law and order in the district.Several police officials were present during the charge handover ceremony.
On the occasion, outgoing SP Saurav was given a farewell, while the new SP Praveen Pushkar was welcomed warmly. Officials expressed confidence that under his leadership, the law and order situation in the district would become even stronger.
