Khatiyani Johar Yatra: CM says Mica Industry to be revived, schemes being run to link youth with jobs & self employment

Koderma: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the mica business will be revived in the Koderma district an action plan has being prepared for this. With this, the workers associated with the mica business here will get employment and their standard of living will also improve the Chief Minister said this while meeting and interacting with the people as part of his Koderma district tour programme during the Khatiyani Johar Yatra.

The Chief Minister said that the government is working for the people of every class. On the one hand, it is making plans to connect the youth with employment and to empower women and on another hand is working to connect them with self-employment. He said that the government is working to connect the people with the important schemes of the government by coming at their doorstep. When government camps are organized near the people they should go to those camps and work to connect with the schemes of their interest.

The Chief Minister met children undergoing computer training at the camp of DEGS Computer Basic Training Center being run by the district administration at Bagitand Stadium in Koderma. The Chief Minister also learned from the girls about their training. A total of 9 centers are being run by the district administration in all the blocks of Koderma. In which a total of 10658 children of the district have received training so far. Presently more than 300 students are getting computer education in each centre.

The Chief Minister inspected the reconstruction work of Project Girls High School, Koderma. During this, he interacted with the girls of the school. He told the girls that they should study. The government will make all the arrangements for their studies. The government will bear the expenses in the field in which you want to make a career in medicine, engineering, law etc.

Along with this, the government will also help you financially for the coaching of UPSC, JPSC, SSC etc. On this occasion, he took information related to education from the girls. It may be noted that facilities like a library, workshop, sick room, computer lab, Harsh Johar room, smart class are available in this school. Kitchen garden and gardening are also done in this school. JSMDC and re-linking the labourers with employment.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government is working to connect the local people with employment opportunities. He interacted with the women laborers. He also flagged off the vehicle to start the work at the Dhibra dump. Minister Satyanand Bhokta, MLA Barhi Umashankar Akela, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Choubey, DIG North Chotanagpur Narendra Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner Koderma Aditya Ranjan, Superintendent of Police Kumar Gaurav were present on the occasion.
