Compensation paid to 1042 dependents of Covid victims in Ranchi district

Ranchi: Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan held a review meeting regarding the payment of compensation to the dependents of the deceased from Covid-19 in the district.

In the meeting organized through a virtual medium, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar Deepak Dubey, Sub- Divisional Officer Bundu Ajay Kumar, Additional Collector Ranchi Rajesh Barwar, LRDC, Ranchi Rajiv Kumar were present.

During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner reviewed in detail the applications received for payment of compensation to the dependents of the Covid-19 deceased. During this he inquired about pending and executed applications.

In the Ranchi district, payment has been made after the acceptance of a total of 1042 applications of the dependents of Covid-19 deceased. During the meeting, he directed the concerned district to take action by forwarding the application for payment of compensation regarding the application of another district.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the Sub-Divisional Officer to direct the concerned Circle Officers to take further action on the respective applications regarding the applications returned from the LRDC office.

On such applications in which the complete address of the deceased has not been provided, the Deputy Commissioner directed to contact the concerned hospital and get complete information. After receiving the information, he asked the SDO to direct the concerned CO for further action. After taking a decision on the pending cases in CDAC, the Deputy Commissioner was directed to provide information to LRDC.
