




Mumbai — Actress Nimrat Kaur embraced the charm of the Mumbai monsoon by sharing a glimpse of what she fondly described as her "long-time lover" — a comforting cup of hot coffee.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Nimrat first posted a picture of two girls sitting by the seaside under an umbrella, capturing the city's rainy-day mood. She captioned the image, "My Mumbai," along with a red heart emoji.
In another post, the actress shared a photograph of a steaming cup of coffee at a café, with raindrops visible in the background. Calling coffee her "long-time lover," she added a red heart emoji to the post.


The 44-year-old actress was most recently seen in the third season of The Family Man, starring Manoj Bajpayee as intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari. The series also features Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja and Shreya Dhanwanthary. The latest season explores growing tensions in Northeast India against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic and border developments involving China.
Nimrat made her film debut with Peddlers, produced by Anurag Kashyap, before earning widespread acclaim for her performance opposite Irrfan Khan in The Lunchbox.
She later ventured into international television, portraying an ISI agent in the fourth season of Homeland, and also appeared in the American drama Wayward Pines.

In Bollywood, Nimrat won praise for her role opposite Akshay Kumar in Airlift. Most recently, she featured in Kaalidhar Laapata alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
Nimrat will next be seen in the courtroom drama Section 84, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and headlined by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
