The controversy surrounding popular educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has deepened after an FIR was registered against him in connection with a firing incident at a coaching institute in Patna's Kadamkuan area. The development has triggered a fresh wave of allegations from some of his relatives and neighbours.
As the investigation progresses, Khan Sir's uncle, Nisar Ahmad Khan, made several claims about the educator, alleging that he does not possess notable academic qualifications and questioning the authenticity of degrees associated with him. He also alleged that Khan Sir's personality had changed over time due to increasing financial ambitions and referred to recent controversies involving the use of his image in promotional material featuring successful students.
Separately, a neighbour accused the educator of attempting to influence local disputes through his position and resources. The neighbour alleged that a boundary wall in the locality was demolished under pressure and claimed Khan Sir was involved, though no evidence supporting the allegation was presented in the report.
Meanwhile, police in Patna have registered a case against Faisal Khan, two security guards, and other unidentified individuals in connection with the June 2 incident at a coaching institute in Kadamkuan.
According to officials, the FIR has been filed under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (attempt to murder) along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act. The complaint was lodged by Kadamkuan police station inspector Anil Kumar.
The case gained attention after a video allegedly showed two security guards firing shots into the air during an incident that took place around 10:10 p.m. on June 2.
Police have arrested two security personnel, identified as Talebar Singh and Pradeep Kumar, both residents of Uttar Pradesh. Investigators are also examining the validity of firearm licences reportedly issued outside Bihar.
Authorities have stated that the investigation remains ongoing and that all aspects of the case, including the role of other unidentified persons named in the FIR, are being scrutinised.
It is important to note that the allegations made by relatives and neighbours have been reported as claims, and no court or investigating agency has yet established their veracity. The police inquiry into the firing incident is still underway.
