Ranchi: Rajya Sabha MP Premchand Gupta and former cabinet minister of Uttar Pradesh Ambika Chowdhary and former mayor of Patna Afzal Imam were among the three people who met jailed former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav at the paying ward of RIMS here.
After meeting Mr Yadav former minister of Uttar Pradesh Ambika Chowdhary said that his health condition was better. He said that he had come on a personal visit to Ranchi during which he decided to meet Mr Yadav. Refusing to comment on anything on political matters he said that he had just come to look into his health conditions.
On the other hand, Rajya Sabha MP Prem Chand Gupta left the hospital without interacting with the media. Since elections in Bihar are scheduled this year, therefore, the coming of leaders from the neighbouring state to meet Mr Yadav has increased in RIMS.
