Hemant meets Lalu Yadav in RIMS hold discussion over government formation

Ranchi: Chief Minister (designate) Hemant Soren met jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav at the paying ward of RIMS here during which discussion took place between the two leaders over government formation in the state.

Later talking to the press Mr Soren said that the process of government formation was on in the state and moreover the RJD supremo was undergoing treatment at the hospital, therefore, he had come to meet him and seek his blessings as his inputs are also vital to form the next government.

After meeting Mr Yadav in RIMS Hemant also visited the trauma center and inquired into the well being of the patients admitted at the trauma center. He was welcomed by the staff of the hospital with flowers.

However, the meeting turned into a fresh controversy as apart from Hemant Soren at least 12-15 other people also met Lalu Yadav in the hospital that too without prior approval.

As per the jail manual, only three persons are allowed to meet Mr Yadav in RIMS every Saturday and in special cases, the family members can meet him.

Jail superintendent of Birsa Munda Central Jail Ashok Chowdhary said that three people including Hemant Soren, Rajendra Singh and Narendra Singh were granted special permission to meet Mr Yadav however he was not aware of others also meeting him.

He said that if such a thing has happened than a probe will be ordered and after the report, necessary action will be taken.
