Ranchi: Former cabinet minister of Bihar Narendra Singh claimed that disrespecting a dedicated RSS and BJP worker like Saryu Rai proved to be fatal for the BJP as he turned out to be the man who wrote the script of the downfall of the party in the state.
Addressing a press conference here said that now it was the turn of Hemant Soren to honor him by either making him the speaker of the assembly or the cabinet minister. Mr Singh was among the prominent leaders who had campaigned for Rai in Jamshedpur East.
He said that out of 19 years it is the BJP that ruled in the state for 15 years but the state could not achieve desired development despite being blessed by the abundance of mineral and natural wealth.
To a query, he said that the results of Vidhan Sabha polls of Jharkhand will definitely have its impact in Bihar and if the elections are held just now NDA will not be able to cross 75 seats in the neighbouring state.
