The Rotaract Club of St Xavier’s College, Ranchi, organised a five-day mega event, ‘IMPACT 360 – A Mythic Odyssey’, featuring more than 30 programmes focused on community service, youth engagement and social outreach.
The campaign covered a wide range of activities under service, community service, public relations, international service, youth service, vocational service and fundraising initiatives.
September 20 was observed as the main execution day of the campaign, with more than 10 activities conducted in a single day. These included a food donation drive, feeding of street animals, service activities at a gaushala and several fundraising initiatives aimed at extending support to people and communities in need.
According to the organisers, the five-day campaign reached more than 50,000 people through its various service and outreach activities.
The initiative also sought to give young volunteers an opportunity to develop leadership skills, teamwork and a stronger sense of social responsibility while engaging directly with community welfare activities.
A significant focus of the campaign was on encouraging young people to look beyond individual goals and contribute to their communities through sustained volunteer work.
Through ‘IMPACT 360 – A Mythic Odyssey’, the Rotaract Club sought to bring together youth participation, community service and social responsibility, using a series of grassroots initiatives to promote the idea that young people can play an active role in creating positive change in society.
