Sole motto of BJP leaders is to sell land of Jharkhand to traders of Gujarat: Rajeev Shukla

Ranchi: Congress national spokesperson and former Union Minister Rajeev Shukla said that entire country is waiting for historic results of assembly elections of Jharkhand. Addressing a press conference at the JPCC headquarters here he said that entire country is worried about the dictatorship policies of the BJP government of the centre and state.

He said that the only work left with the leaders of BJP sitting in Delhi was how they can sell the land to the traders of Gujarat therefore it was the responsibility of the people to throw out such government from power. He said that not a single promise which the BJP had promised in the polls of 2014 was fulfilled by the party.

Mr Shukla said that only by using heavy speeches and giving catchy slogans the Prime Minister has mislead the people. He said that Mr Modi is now talking about the rights of the tribals but it is the Congress party which has worked more for them.

He said that all the provisions which were made by the Congress in the land acquisition bill for the interest of tribals have been removed by the Congress as the sole purpose was to sell the land of the state and country to traders of Gujarat.

Over the Adani power plant in Godda he said that the power produced in Jharkhand will be given to Bangladesh. He said that the common people of the country included women students workers and even media is not happy with lotus.

Mr Shukla said that corruption was on high while prices of onion and milk is daily increasing and the growth rate of the country has come down to 4 percent but BJP is busy misleading the people.
He said that people of Jharkhand have a golden opportunity to get rid of the BJP and its policies. He claimed that after end of 4 phases of elections it is clear that Mahagathbandhan will come into power with absolute majority.
