JMM warns of big Diwali surprise after couple of MLAs join BJP

Ranchi: In a major embarrassment for the main opposition party of the state the JMM two of its MLAs including JP Patel and Kunal Sadangi joined the BJP here leaving the party red-faced.

However, the party’s general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that BJP has resorted to its old tactics which is a challenge for the democracy and the people of the state.

He said that the BJP claims to be biggest party in the country but during the Lok Sabha polls it poached leaders from other parties and among its total MPs 188 are such who are not traditional BJP workers. Without naming JP Patel he said that since long he was suspended from the party and it is good that he has finally left.

He said that his father was a close associate of Guruji therefore after his demise he got an opportunity to contest and after becoming MLA went on to become the minister.

On Kunal Sadangi he said that the party gave him an opportunity to contest in the previous elections and also gave him opportunity to function as a whip, spokesperson and also included him in the core committee but unfortunately he got lured by the tactics of the BJP and left the party.

However, he said that many leaders of the BJP are in touch with his party and soon a big surprise will be for everyone during Diwali.
