Those who talk about Jal, Jungle and Zameen deliberately kept the state poor: Nadda

Hazaribagh: BJP’s acting JP Nadda in an indirect attack on the JMM said that those who talk about Jal Junglee and Zameen have deliberately kept the state poor.

Addressing the North Chottanagpur division level booth cum workers meet he said now talks and works in Jharkhand are held for the well being of the farmers, women and villages.

He said that providing monetary assistance between Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000, covering 57 lakh families under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, formation of Sakhi Mandals, LPG stove and second refill of cylinder under Ujjwala Yojana and registry of property in the name of woman for just Re 1 are some of the examples of change.

He said that there was a time when caste-based coalition was formed in the country but Modi Ji has changed that culture. He said that the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas has been converted into reality.

He said that the party workers should feel proud that they are member of the BJP which is present from panchayat level to Lok Sabha. Mr Nadda said since the policy and intentions of the BJP are clear it was making progress.

Mr Nadda said that due to the dedication of the workers that the party which won 282 seats in 2014 polls went on to capture 303 seats in 2019 elections.

He said that BJP was in power in 17 states and asked the party workers to work hard in order to win all the 23 seats of North Chottanagpur division and asked the workers to manage their booth as people are interested to vote.

Mr Nadda said that in the membership drive which was formed after the formation of the government in 56 days from 11 crore the membership increased to 17 crore. He said that 1.85 lakh workers included these new members into the party.

He said that 10.74 crore families have been linked with Ayushman Bharat Yojana and a sum of Rs 87 crore has been transferred into the accounts of 14 crore farmers. He said that the government has ensured pension for two crore small shop keepers and 8 crore women have been provided gas connections under Ujjwala Yojana and said that it was the responsibility of the workers now to bring the voters to the booth.
