JVM(P) MLA Pradeep Yadav surrenders before CJM court in sexual harassment case

Deoghar: JVM (P) Poriyahaat MLA Pradeep Yadav surrendered before the CJM court here in a sexual harassment case.

Mr Yadav surrendered in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (in charge) Kamal Ranjan which forwarded him to 14 days of judicial custody to Deoghar central jail. 

Earlier the anticipatory bail plea of Mr Yadav, in this case, was rejected by Deoghar court on June 18 and subsequently by the Jharkhand High Court on July 16 after which he was left with no option but to rather surrender before the court. 

A case of sexual harassment was levelled against Mr Yadav by ex-spokesperson of his party who had alleged that Pradeep Yadav had sexually harassed her in a city hotel in Deoghar and subsequently an FIR was also registered.
