Ranchi: Demonstrating how collective efforts can make a meaningful difference in society, the Rotaract Club of St Xavier’s College, Ranchi, organised a two-day fundraising campaign titled ‘Kalyan 5.0’ on November 3 and 4, 2026, under its Community Service Avenue initiative.
The campaign aimed to mobilise financial support for various community service programmes and social welfare activities undertaken by the club. Through a three-phase fundraising drive, club members reached out to people at different levels to encourage contributions and strengthen support for their social initiatives.
The campaign received an encouraging response, with members collectively raising more than Rs 50,000 on the very first day. The achievement reflected the enthusiasm and coordinated efforts of the volunteers participating in the initiative.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of club president Shivangi Jha and secretary Gurjyot Singh. Members actively participated in the fundraising activities, demonstrating their commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
The funds collected through ‘Kalyan 5.0’ will be utilised for various community service and social welfare projects undertaken by the Rotaract Club.
Beyond fundraising, the initiative highlighted the importance of collective participation in addressing social needs. It reinforced the message that meaningful change does not always require substantial resources; even small contributions, when combined with shared commitment and compassion, can create a lasting positive impact.
