Hemant Soren Leaves for Delhi Ahead of INDIA Bloc Rally on November 1

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren left for New Delhi on Friday afternoon to attend the INDIA bloc rally scheduled to be held at Ramlila Maidan on November 1. He was accompanied by MLA Kalpana Soren and state Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar.

During his visit, Hemant Soren is scheduled to meet leaders of the opposition alliance on Friday and Saturday before attending Sunday's rally. Several prominent leaders from the Congress and other INDIA bloc constituents are expected to participate in the event.

The rally is being organised over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and allegations of vote theft. The Congress has also called for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Soren's visit is expected to involve discussions with alliance leaders ahead of the rally, in addition to his participation in the public event. The meetings are likely to be significant for coordination among opposition parties on the issues being raised by the alliance.
