Suspected Pilfered Tata Tiscon TMT Bars Recovered in Hazaribagh

Jamshedpur/Ranchi, October 30: Tata Steel's Security and Brand Protection Team has recovered Tata Tiscon-branded TMT bars, including cut material, from the Hazaribagh area following information about suspected pilferage during transit.

Acting on the information, the team visited an open clearing behind a roadside hotel along the Hazaribagh–Barhi route, where the material was found. The recovered bars were documented and seized before being handed over to the local police for further action.

Tata Steel also submitted a written complaint to Padma Police Station regarding the suspected unauthorised handling and pilferage of its branded TMT bars. The necessary procedures have been initiated, and further action is underway in coordination with the local law enforcement authorities.

Akhilesh Kumar, Head of Security at Tata Steel; Bimlesh Kumar Rai, Senior Manager, Security; and Dhrubojyoti Saha, Senior Area Manager, Brand Protection, were among those present during the operation.
