The Deoghar district administration has directed concerned departments to address public grievances within a week and submit action-taken reports to ensure timely disposal of complaints.

The directions were issued by Additional Collector Hira Kumar during a public hearing organised on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania.

Residents from both urban and rural areas attended the hearing and raised concerns related to the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, the supply department, land acquisition, circle offices and education. District-level officials and staff members were present to assist in examining the applications and facilitating their resolution.

Hira Kumar heard the applicants individually and assured them that their complaints would be examined and addressed at the earliest. He instructed the officials concerned to take prompt action and conduct field inspections wherever necessary to establish the facts and resolve the issues.

The Additional Collector also directed all concerned departments to submit action-taken reports to the Deputy Commissioner’s office within seven days. The reports will help the administration monitor the progress of complaints and ensure accountability in the grievance redressal process.

The initiative is aimed at providing residents with a direct platform to raise administrative and public service-related concerns while ensuring that complaints are followed up with concrete action.
