Gumla Holds Key Meeting on Preparations for 2027 Board Examinations

A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Gumla Deputy Commissioner to review preparations for the Annual Secondary and Intermediate Board Examinations 2027, including the identification of examination and evaluation centres and arrangements for the smooth conduct of the exams.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, District Education Officer, representatives of various teachers’ associations, as well as other officials and representatives of public representatives.

Detailed discussions were held on the selection of examination centres at the block level and evaluation centres at the district level for the Matric and Intermediate examinations. Officials also reviewed preparations in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).

The meeting reached a consensus on the proposed examination centres and reviewed essential arrangements, including basic facilities at examination venues, security measures, convenience of candidates and other requirements related to the conduct of the examinations.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to complete all examination-related preparations within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance with JAC guidelines. He stressed the importance of advance planning, effective coordination among departments and timely implementation to ensure that the 2027 board examinations are conducted smoothly.

Superintendent of Police Gumla Haris Bin Zama, Deputy Development Commissioner Animesh Ranjan, District Education Officer Kavita Khalkho, representatives of the MLA and MP, and other concerned officials and personnel were present at the meeting.
