Deoghar’s Manushree Honoured with Gold Medal by President Droupadi Murmu

Manushree, a resident of Shrikant Road in Bela Bagan, Deoghar, was honoured with a Gold Medal by President Droupadi Murmu at a grand ceremony held at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi on August 31, 2026. The occasion was the convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) graduating batch of 2026.

Manushree brought pride to Deoghar by securing the Gold Medal for her outstanding performance in the AD department at NIFT Raebareli. She also received the Meritorious Student Award for her academic excellence. Manushree completed her Class 10 education from St. Francis School, Jasidih, in 2020 and secured eighth position in Deoghar district.

She later passed her Class 12 examination in first division from Indian Heritage School, Jasidih, in 2022. She was selected for NIFT Raebareli in her very first attempt. Manushree had started dreaming of studying at NIFT after completing her matriculation.

Through consistent hard work, dedication, and determination, she turned her dream into reality and has brought honour to her family and the people of Deoghar.

Her achievement has brought immense happiness and pride to her family. Her father, Manoj Barnwal, and mother, Savita Rani, expressed happiness over her success. The family and well-wishers congratulated Manushree and wished her a bright and successful future.
