Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrated with Devotion and Enthusiasm in Ghaghra Villages

Eid Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated with religious devotion, respect and enthusiasm in Patagai, Puto, Goya and Kotamati villages of Ghaghra block on Wednesday.

On the occasion, the local Anjuman Islamia committees organised traditional Juloos-e-Mohammadi processions in the respective villages. The processions passed through different neighbourhoods and major roads, with a large number of residents participating.

The atmosphere turned spiritual as devotees raised religious slogans during the processions. After passing through the villages, the processions concluded near the local mosques, where prayers were offered for peace, communal harmony, prosperity and the well-being of society and the country.

The Ghaghra police remained deployed throughout the programme to maintain law and order and ensure the smooth conduct of the processions. The security arrangements helped the celebrations continue peacefully.

Members and office-bearers of the Anjuman Islamia committees, along with local residents, took an active part in the celebrations. People from different age groups, including youngsters, elders and children, contributed to making the programme successful.

Among those present were Nadeem Bhandari, Shahrukh Bhandari, Monu Ali, Khurshid Ali, Sabit Hussain, Jamshed Hussain, Seraj Bhandari, Pappu Bhandari, Raju Bhandari, Danish Bhandari, Ali Bashir Ali, Sajid Hussain, Ajabul Khan, Javed Akhtar, Shafiq Khan and Jalil Khan.

The celebrations concluded peacefully, with participants emphasising the values of brotherhood, peace and mutual harmony.
