Television actress Nia Sharma is choosing a more relaxed approach to beauty, confidently showing that she is just as comfortable without makeup as she is when fully dressed up.
Nia recently shared a series of pictures on social media, featuring both her makeup-free appearance and glamorous looks. Along with the photos, she gave her followers a candid message about feeling comfortable in her own skin.
“Don’t mess with a girl who’s living a makeup-free life with equal ease … makeup karke to koi bhi Divaaaa ban jata hai (anyone can become a diva with makeup). To a fuss-free life,” she wrote.
The actress has also been candid about the difference between the carefully styled images seen on social media and the reality of everyday life. A few days earlier, Nia opened up about spending time without makeup, dealing with dark circles and messy hair, and even feeling bloated.
In a humorous and relatable post, she described lying in bed, looking at herself without makeup and wondering whether she should even get up for a shower. She also joked about eating freely and then noticing her waistline.
“The IG videos we post and how we’re looking at the moment are two extremes, gets hard to deal with your own self… or maybe I am bored and I just need to get in my element again,” she had written.
Her latest post continues that candid streak, offering a glimpse of the actress away from the polished appearance generally associated with celebrity social media profiles.
On the work front, Nia has remained active on television and reality shows. She recently appeared in the 16th season of “Splitsvilla”, hosted by Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra. She was also part of the latest edition of “Laughter Chefs Fun Unlimited”.
Nia is known for her roles in television shows including “Behenein”, “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai”, “Meri Durga” and “Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha”. In 2020, she participated in “Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India” and emerged as the winner.
She has also explored the digital space with web series such as “Twisted” and “Jamai 2.0”.
