Warning of Action Against Negligence, Orders for Speedy Disposal of Pending Cases

Deoghar: Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the Mohanpur Block Office, Circle Office and Community Health Centre, reviewing the implementation of various government schemes and public services. During the inspection, officials were directed to ensure the timely disposal of pending cases and warned that negligence in official duties would invite strict action.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed mutation cases, land revenue collection, other revenue-related matters, doorstep delivery services, ration distribution and the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. He also instructed officials to verify beneficiaries who have not been lifting ration supplies for several months and take necessary action.
In view of the rising summer temperatures, directions were issued to ensure uninterrupted drinking water and electricity supply in rural areas. Officials were asked to repair defunct hand pumps and guarantee drinking water facilities in all schools and anganwadi centres. Emphasis was also laid on generating more person-days under MGNREGA and ensuring disability certificates for all eligible persons.At the Community Health Centre, the Deputy Commissioner inspected cleanliness, availability of medicines, power supply, OPD and emergency services, as well as medical equipment. Healthcare personnel were instructed to provide better treatment and services to patients.After the inspection, all concerned officials were directed to submit detailed progress reports. Deputy Development Commissioner Piyush Sinha, Additional Collector Hira Kumar and officials from various departments were present during the visit.
