
Deoghar. A Janata Darbar chaired by Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania was organized in Deoghar to address public grievances and ensure their prompt resolution. Residents from both urban and rural areas of the district attended the programme and raised issues related to land acquisition, compensation payments, the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, land revenue matters, pensions, housing schemes and ration cards.The Deputy Commissioner heard each complaint individually and assured applicants that all grievances would be thoroughly examined and resolved at the earliest. Several cases were settled on the spot during the programme. Issues related to the inclusion of names in ration cards, pension benefits and the Maiya Samman Yojana were addressed immediately by the concerned departments.In a notable instance, the Deputy Commissioner took prompt cognizance of an application submitted by differently-abled resident Bhavesh Kumar Gupta and directed officials to provide him with a tricycle without delay.Reviewing cases related to land acquisition and compensation payments, the Deputy Commissioner expressed dissatisfaction with delays and instructed officials and staff members to ensure timely disposal of public grievances. The District Land Acquisition Officer was directed to expedite all pending land acquisition matters, while employees of the concerned office were asked to improve their work culture and efficiency.Emphasizing a citizen-centric approach, the Deputy Commissioner said that differently-abled persons and senior citizens should not be forced to make repeated visits to government offices. He directed officials at the district, block and panchayat levels to handle public issues with sensitivity and priority.A large number of applications relating to various departments were received during the Janata Darbar. After hearing the complainants, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned officials to conduct physical verification wherever necessary and ensure early resolution of all cases. He also directed departments to submit progress reports on the disposal of complaints to the Deputy Commissioner's office within one week to facilitate effective monitoring.Taking a firm stand against encroachment, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all Circle Officers to initiate strict action against illegal occupation of government land. He also ordered inquiries into various land-related disputes and directed the Sub-Divisional Officer to take appropriate action based on the findings.Among those present on the occasion were Executive Magistrate Om Priyadarshi, ADSS Sarita Bharti, Assistant Public Relations Officer Rohit Kumar Vidyarthi, along with officials and staff members from various departments.
