Fatima Sana Shaikh Cherishes Dance School Days, Says ‘Loved Being a Backbencher’

Mumbai: Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has fondly looked back on her time at a dance school in Kerala, describing the experience as one filled with learning, fun and unforgettable memories.

Sharing a video montage on social media, Fatima offered fans a glimpse into her journey at the dance institution. The reel featured moments of her learning traditional dance forms, spending quality time with friends, enjoying the beach, and soaking in the beauty of the monsoon rains.

Summing up her experience, the actress wrote that she learned a great deal, had plenty of fun and enjoyed delicious food during her stay. She also mentioned that many memorable moments were left unrecorded.

Reflecting on the experience, Fatima said she loved being a student again and especially enjoyed being a “backbencher,” adding that the entire experience was full of excitement and laughter.

On the professional front, the actress had announced in January that she had completed shooting for an upcoming untitled film. She shared photographs from the set, including moments from a cake-cutting celebration with the cast and crew.

The project features an ensemble cast including Siddharth Roy Kapur, Pavail Gulatie, Ravi Behl, Kabir Bedi and Zain Khan Durrani, among others.

Fatima will also be seen in the upcoming film *Nyaya*, where she stars alongside Aneet Padda. The film also features Arjun Mathur, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav and Rajesh Sharma.

Fatima began her acting journey as a child artist in films such as *Chachi 420* and *One 2 Ka 4*. She rose to nationwide fame with her portrayal of wrestler Geeta Phogat in the blockbuster *Dangal*, one of the most successful Indian films ever made.

Over the years, she has earned praise for her performances in projects such as *Ludo*, *Modern Love Mumbai*, *Sam Bahadur*, *Dhak Dhak* and *Aap Jaisa Koi*.
