Santhal Pargana Gets AIIMS Boost, Deoghar Set to Emerge as Healthcare and Research Hub

AIIMS Deoghar celebrated its 8th Foundation Day on Monday with enthusiasm and grandeur at its Devipur campus. Union Minister Annapurna Devi and Godda MP Nishikant Dubey attended the programme as chief guests. During the event, the institute showcased its medical services, research activities and major achievements of the past several years.Students who delivered outstanding performances were felicitated during the ceremony, while faculty members who made notable contributions in research were honoured with certificates and shields. Doctors, students, staff members and the AIIMS administration participated actively in the celebration.Annapurna Devi said the establishment of AIIMS in Santhal Pargana under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a historic gift for the region. She said the institute has significantly improved healthcare access for people living in remote areas and opened new avenues of development. She also highlighted the institution’s important role in advancing research and modern medical care.Nishikant Dubey said AIIMS Deoghar is steadily moving towards advanced technology-driven healthcare services. He added that Artificial Intelligence-based systems would be integrated into healthcare services on a larger scale in the coming years. He expressed confidence that AIIMS Deoghar would soon establish itself among the country’s leading medical institutions and that doctors graduating from the institute would earn recognition both in India and abroad.
