
Deogahr. IAS Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania on Monday took charge as the 48th Deputy Commissioner of Deoghar district. He formally assumed office from outgoing Deputy Commissioner Shashi Prakash Singh. After taking charge, the new Deputy Commissioner interacted with media representatives and outlined the administration’s priorities and future plans.He said the grand and smooth conduct of Rajkiya Shravani Mela-2026 would be the administration’s top priority. Special focus will be given to ensuring all necessary facilities for devotees visiting Baba Baidyanath Dham during the Kanwar Yatra, so that pilgrims return home with a pleasant experience. He added that efficient arrangements during the fair would further enhance the image and dignity of the state government.The Deputy Commissioner said efforts would be made to maintain better coordination with the public, public representatives, media personnel, officials and all stakeholders to ensure a positive administrative environment in the district. He stressed that all development and administrative works would be carried out in a transparent and coordinated manner.
He also said the administration would work to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach people at the grassroots level. The focus will remain on effective implementation of schemes on the ground so that eligible beneficiaries can be connected with the government’s flagship welfare programmes.
