Ranchi- Angered by the persistent delay in recruitment results, large numbers of Jharkhand aspirants began a peaceful ‘satyagraha’ outside the JPSC office on Monday.
The demonstrators demanded immediate publication of results for long-pending examinations, including those for Food Safety Officer and CDPO posts.
Aspirants said that more than a year has passed since the exams were held, yet the Commission has provided neither results nor any definitive update. The recruitment cycle has been ongoing since 2023, and although the main exam concluded in 2024, the results remain withheld.
“The JPSC calendar has completely collapsed. Our entire future is on hold,” one of the candidates said.
After meeting officials in the afternoon, the protesters were told that the results would be released “soon,” but no written assurance or clear deadline was provided.
Several candidates alleged a lack of transparency behind the delay, stating that the evaluation process was completed long ago.
They also expressed concern that the uncertainty is affecting their eligibility for future recruitment cycles as age limits approach.
Chanting slogans demanding accountability, the protesters said their satyagraha would continue until the Commission issues a formal statement with a specific date of result declaration.
The JPSC has yet to comment officially on the situation.
