
Ranchi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has invited applications from Jharkhand Police officers of the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) ranks for deputation. In a letter to the state’s Chief Secretary and Director General of Police (DGP), the NIA said eight posts are to be filled through deputation, with August 12 set as the last date for nominations.
The agency has clarified that once submitted, applications cannot be withdrawn. Officers applying for the posts must submit duly verified photocopies of their Annual Performance Reports (APRs) from 2020–21 to 2024–25. In case any APR is unavailable for a particular period, applicants must provide a certificate explaining the reason.
Additionally, officers must submit full details of any major or minor penalties imposed on them over the last ten years.
