Tribal Delegations Visit Nemra to Pay Tribute to Guruji, Extend Support to CM Soren

Ranchi: A united delegation of the Central Sarna Committee, Raji Pargana Sarna Prarthana Sabha Bharat, and Adivasi Vistapit Morcha (Dhurwa) visited Nemra village in Ramgarh district to pay homage to the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren at his ancestral home. They also met Chief Minister Hemant Soren to convey heartfelt condolences on the passing of his father.

During their visit, Sarna followers offered prayers to Chala Maa and Dharmes Baba, seeking peace for the departed soul and strength for the grieving Soren family. Representatives assured that the entire tribal community stands firmly beside the Soren family in their time of sorrow.

Ajay Tirkey, President of the Central Sarna Committee, said that Dishom Guru Shibu Soren devoted his life to preserving tribal identity, rights, and social upliftment. He described Soren as a symbol of public service and struggle, committed to awakening social consciousness. He further noted that for many, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was more than a political party—it was like a family. Continuous prayers were offered at Sarna worship sites during Soren’s illness.

The delegation included Ajay Tirkey, Munna Oraon, Rahul Oraon, Madan Oraon, Prakash Hans, Birsa Kachhap, Ajay Kachhap, Anil Oraon, Virendra Oraon, Raji Pargana Sarna Prarthana Sabha national president Neeraj Munda, secretary Gaina Kachhap, Biglaha Oraon, Mahadev Oraon, Gandura Oraon, and women’s wing leaders Subhani Tigga, Sita Khalkho, Suchita Bara, Kamla Bara, Binita Tigga, Sunita Oraon, and Fulgensia Linda, among others.
