Ranchi: The relief granted to JD(U) MLA Saryu Rai by the High Court has come to an end. This happened after Rai withdrew his petition from the court, stating that he needs to file a fresh petition in the matter.
Rai had approached the High Court seeking the quashing of a case filed against him by the Additional Secretary of the Health Department. The petition was heard by Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi in the High Court, where Rai's lawyer, Divakar Upadhyay, argued on his behalf.
