Ranchi: Jharkhand DGP Ajay Kumar Singh held a review meeting with the SPs of the districts on Monday regarding crime control and law and order in the state. In this review meeting which lasted for about four hours, the DGP reviewed several points including crime control and action being taken against organized criminal gangs and gave several guidelines on this.
The DIGs of all ranges participated in this meeting by being present at the police headquarters. At the same time, the SSPs of the district attended the review meeting through video conferencing.
During the review meeting, the DGP discussed the data of last five years’ cases, crime control and action being taken against organized criminal gangs, list of reported and executed cases, reason for pendency of cases and such cases of human trafficking in which Victim has not yet reported.
Apart from this, action taken regarding the execution of warrant, attachment execution status, security of court premises, judges and their residential premises were also discussed. He also reviewed the matter related to the action being taken against maoists.
