Governor made to read a book of lies by state government: Biranchi Narayan

Ranchi: BJP’s chief whip and Bokaro MLA accused the state government of making the Governor read a ‘book of lies'. Speaking during the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address in the post-lunch session he said that in the Assembly the Governor talks about the works of the government but he was made to read a book of lies.

He said that the state government has changed the definition of industries in Jharkhand as now the transfer and posting of the officials has become the new industry where officers themselves claim that they have been given crores of rupees to get the posting of their choice. 

Speaking further he attacked the state government over the issue of corruption and pointed that such has become the situation here that son of an officer of the government drinks made in France water and wears a T-Shirt of Rs 35,000 but despite that MLAs of the ruling parties create a scene in the assembly. 

Biranchi Narayan demanded the state government to tell as to who were Pooja Singhal Amit Aggarwal Pankaj Mishra and Bacchu Yadav. Raising the issue of declining law and order he said that no one was safe in Jharkhand as criminals enjoy protection here.

He said that policemen are being beaten while doctors are being attacked and while on one hand a culprit of Ranchi mob violence was taken in an air ambulance for treatment the government remained silent on the issue of Ankita case of Dumka.

Raising the issue of the recent accident at Anjuman Plaza of the state capital he said that the media has the CCTV footage of the entire happenings but Ranchi Police does not and sought an answer from the state government over the mistake of Shivam who also lost his life in the incident
