Government working to ensure Adivasis and Moolvasis get their rights and dues: Hemant Soren

Chatra: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that his government is working to ensure that the Adivasis and Moolvasis get their rights and dues. Addressing the people at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here as part of his Khatiyaani Johar Yatra he said that Jharkhand is the land of the brave and to get this separate state many people ended up making the supreme sacrifice. He said that to protect the Jal Jungle and Zameen of Jharkhand the Adivasis and Moolvasis of the state laid down their lives and after a long struggle a separate state of Jharkhand was carved out in 2000.

However, despite 20 years into existence why the state has lagged behind in many areas he asked and said that his government is working for the betterment of every sector of the state. He said that the government is also working to increase the income of the farmers of the state and has launched many schemes for their welfare.

Further, the Pashudhan Yojana is also proving to be beneficial for the farmers he pointed out. The Chief Minister said that his government has come out with many schemes through which the people are getting benefits and for ensuring the studies of the Children especially the girls Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana has been started while for higher education loans are being provided to the students.

He claimed that the people of the state are very happy with the decisions which are being taken by the state government. He said that the government has given the rights and dues to the para teachers, anganwadi sevikas and government employees and these sections have welcomed the decision of the government with great enthusiasm.

Hemant Soren said that under the Sarkar Aapke Dwar Program the officials are reaching to the villages and panchayats and through camps are solving the problems of the people. He said that people used to run after block offices but now the officials are coming to the doors of the people. On the occasion Minister Satynand Bhokta, Chatra DC Abu Imran and SP Rakesh Ranjan and others were present.
