DC instructs to pay special attention in Kisan Credit Card Scheme

Ranchi: A meeting of DISTRICT LEVEL RSETIs, ADVISORY COMMITTEE (DLRAC) and DLC held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha. Agriculture Officer, Ranchi, Vikas Kumar, Leading District Manager Ranchi Srikant Kumar, Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi, AGM, NABARD Ranchi, People’s representatives, Zilla Parishad members and representatives of various banks were present in the meeting held in the Deputy Commissioner.

In the meeting, the coverage of eligible beneficiaries under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme was reviewed by Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha. He said that this is a very important scheme through which the beneficiaries have to be benefitted.

While conducting a blockwise review, the Deputy Commissioner instructed to speed up the work by paying special attention to the poorly performing blocks Chanho, Itki, Tamar, Bedo, Lapung, Rahe.

The Deputy Commissioner directed to speed up the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme by paying attention to it. During the meeting, he directed to achieve the target by setting up camps under the PMEGP scheme. He told all the banks to ensure timely payment of pension, MNREGA wages, and scholarship funds.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed all the banks to lay emphasis on providing various pieces of training for the work related to Annual Activity Report. He said that unemployed youths can be linked to self-employment by providing them training in TV repairing, two-wheeler repair etc.

The Deputy Commissioner said that there should be no shortage of training material. All banks were directed by the Deputy Commissioner to dispose of loan-related applications as soon as possible.
