By the initiative of Chief Minister, PDS Shasktikaran Pakhwada to secure the right to food for additional 20 lakh people

Ranchi: Under the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren the process of providing ration cards to those who have been so far deprived of it is being accelerated. To achieve this “PDS Shasktikaran Pakhwada
‘’ is being organised from February 1-14, 2023.

This would entail initiatives for the correction of Aadhar details in ration cards, deletion of the names of beneficiaries registered across multiple ration cards, removal of the names of the deceased, identification of beneficiaries receiving food grains, verification of duplicate Aadhar numbers besides a host of other people-centric measures. Steps are also being taken to extend benefits to the beneficiaries of Daal-Bhaat centers through Daal-Bhaat apps and to pace up the transition of offline dealers to online in a seamless manner.

Following the orders of the Hon’ble Chief Minister utmost priority is being given to secure better health facilities for the residents of the state of Jharkhand. To strengthen this, instructions have been given to make free Ayushman cards through E-KYC of the beneficiaries covered under Ayushman Bharat Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana at a rapid pace.

For this, camps will be organised through Pragya Kendra from February 1 to 15, 2023. Under Ayushman Bharat Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana, free of cost Ayushman cards will be made through E-KYC of the covered beneficiaries. For this, camps will be organised every day for families having pink/yellow/green ration cards. Such families will be eligible for Ayushman card under Ayushman Bharat.

For the registration of the beneficiary, it will be necessary for them to be present at the Pragya center with Aadhaar card, ration card and mobile number. To facilitate this campaign Sahiya, Ration Dealers, Women of SHGs, Sevikas and others shall ensure maximum participation of eligible families.

All pragya kendras have been given a target to cover at least 50 families per day. The Sahiya, Ration Dealers, SHGs women, Sevikas shall ensure that they  take at least 15 people daily to the nearest Pragya Kendras. Block Development Officers are to ensure necessary arrangements for organising camps across all Panchayats.
